August 2nd Phyllis and Hannah Webb, mother and daughter, team up at Riverview to speak and sing at the 96th Annual Cedar Falls Bible Conference. They will be on stage during our Women’s session from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Phyllis and Hannah will share an inspiring message of beautiful women with Jesus shining through us and blooming right where He plants us! How does He use tea cups and watermelons? You will have to come to hear how Phyllis and Hannah reveal that us through message and music. Phyllis Parker Webb, wife and mother to the Rick Webb family group, began her music ministry career in 1978. Today, Phyllis tours 150 concerts dates ministering to over 100,000 people annually in the US and internationally, while continuing her passion for painting and sculpture. Through her many talents, gifts, and awards, Phyllis has remained constant in one goal, Jesus is the center of all she does. Hannah Webb, daughter and sister to the Rick Webb family group began her vocal career at a very young age. Hannah joined her parent’s long time music ministry at the age of 16 as a full time professional member of the group in 2008. presenting the opportunity to minster to nearly 100,000 people in 150 concerts in the US and internationally each year. Hannah has been recognized for many talents and achievements in her young career. Another accolade to Hannah’s credit is a 170 recipe cookbook that has sold thousands of copies via the Internet and live appearances across the US and Canada. Rick and Phyllis Webb have ministered through music evangelism to nearly 3 Million people worldwide logging over 2 million miles, and witnessing scores of people make public decisions for salvation through Jesus Christ, during their concerts. At 31 years old, Jenna was diagnosed with stage 2 Breast Cancer. Jenna used this opportunity to proclaim the goodness of God in her doctors’ appointments, interactions with other patients, and sharing about how she does not have to “fear bad news” because she knows who holds her in His capable hands. Jenna shares her journey of faith, giving thanks that whatever the prognosis or circumstances; in Jesus we have a win-win situation. As husband and wife, Blake & Jenna communicate their faith through music with gentleness and a testimony of love and commitment with their marriage; a chemistry easily seen as they sing and serve together. Over a period of thirty years, The Marksmen have become one of the top Bluegrass Gospel Groups in the nation. For many years a dynamic force on the southern gospel circuit. Several years back, The Marksmen began to tread new ground on the bluegrass circuit as well, but always with their familiar brand of music, with a gospel message. In 1991, The Marksmen won video of the year for their production of “Grandpa Was a Farmer”, at the Independent Country Awards. Then in 1992 they received a Telly Award with their video of “Wagon Tracks.” In 1993, ’94, and ’95 at the National Bluegrass Awards The Marksmen won SPBGMA’s award for the best Bluegrass/Gospel Group of the year. The Punches is a bluegrass gospel group who make their home in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Mom, dad & four children all play instruments, sing, and have been performing nationwide at churches, festivals, fairs and special events since 2009. They’ve been featured on Great American Gospel (a weekly television show) in many countries and on over 200 stations across America. The entire family has a love of the Lord and desires to see souls saved and encouraged in their ministry. They are fun and uplifting and their performance has a strong spiritual undercurrent. Paul’s Journey is a full time Gospel Music Ministry. They travel about 200 days a year nationwide presenting a program that is not only entertaining but uplifting to the soul as well. With over 40 years of traveling behind them, The Whisnants have performed all across the nation and around the world, including Canada, Hawaii and cruises sailing to the Bahamas, Belize and Mexico.
