We would like to invite you to share in a wonderful opportunity that Riverview will be a part of. Riverview Conference Center will be hosting a simulcast of Priscilla Shirer on April 8, 2017! This event will be held in the Event Center at Riverview. The Simulcast will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.

Priscilla Shirer Live is an intimate and inspiring women’s conference like no other. Priscilla’s ministry to women across the country and around the world is focused on the expository teaching of the Word of God. Her desire is to see women come to a full understanding of who they are in Christ by hearing the uncompromising truth of Scripture. You may know Priscilla from her Bible study books and her recent role in the War Room.

We would like to give you an opportunity to register for this great event before Christmas as this would make a wonderful gift. The cost for the day is $30 which includes a boxed lunch. Tickets may be purchased the day of the event for $28 but will not include a boxed lunch. Riverview has several cabins that can be rented during this time. Please call the office for more information. We do have hotels on standby in case our cabins fill up. Please watch our website for more details. Wiley’s Bookstore from Cedar Falls will be with us that day to service you. We hope that you will join us for this wonderful event! Join us for a day trip to the Boone & Scenic Railroad Museum.

Departure and return times: Approximately 7:50am – 6:30pm

Tickets– $22 for transportation (includes transportation & train ticket): May be purchased at Riverview Conference Center to reserve your ride.

lindsayhugginsPraying Women – Women’s Luncheon featuring Lindsay Huggins- July 13, 2017 @ 11AM

Join us for music, message, and lunch with Lindsay Huggins. Through music and words, Lindsay will share the power and joy of praying women. Lindsay Huggins is a multi-talented Christian recording artist who expresses her musical ideas in her own inimitable style. But ministry is more than a hit record for her. It is a calling, and a way of life. “Even with my family background, I didn’t feel confident in my own salvation,” she confesses. “I accepted Christ as my personal Savior in the living room of my home after listening to a song on my CD player. It is my prayer that my music can have that same impact on someone else who is in need of God’s love and redemption.”  Learn more about Lindsay

August 2nd Phyllis and Hannah Webb, mother and daughter, team up at Riverview to speak and sing at the 96th Annual Cedar Falls Bible Conference. They will be on stage during our Women’s session from 2:00pm-4:30pm.  Phyllis and Hannah will share an inspiring message of beautiful women with Jesus shining through us and blooming right where He plants us! How does He use tea cups and watermelons? You will have to come to hear how Phyllis and Hannah reveal that us through message and music. Phyllis Parker Webb, wife and mother to the Rick Webb family group, began her music ministry career in 1978. Today, Phyllis tours 150 concerts dates ministering to over 100,000 people annually in the US and internationally, while continuing her passion for painting and sculpture. Through her many talents, gifts, and awards, Phyllis has remained constant in one goal, Jesus is the center of all she does. Hannah Webb, daughter and sister to the Rick Webb family group began her vocal career at a very young age. Hannah joined her parent’s long time music ministry at the age of 16 as a full time professional member of the group in 2008. presenting the opportunity to minster to nearly 100,000 people in 150 concerts in the US and internationally each year.  Hannah has been recognized for many talents and achievements in her young career.  Another accolade to Hannah’s credit is a 170 recipe cookbook that has sold thousands of copies via the Internet and live appearances across the US and Canada. Rick and Phyllis Webb have ministered through music evangelism to nearly 3 Million people worldwide logging over 2 million miles, and witnessing scores of people make public decisions for salvation through Jesus Christ, during their concerts. Jenna, joined in music by her husband Blake, shares their story of the faithfulness of God and the unwavering relationship He provides through this trial. At 31 years old, Jenna was diagnosed with stage 2 Breast Cancer. Jenna used this opportunity to proclaim the goodness of God in her doctors’ appointments, interactions with other patients, and sharing about how she does not have to “fear bad news” because she knows who holds her in His capable hands. Jenna shares her journey of faith, giving thanks that whatever the prognosis or circumstances; in Jesus we have a win-win situation. As husband and wife, Blake & Jenna communicate their faith through music with gentleness and a testimony of love and commitment with their marriage; a chemistry easily seen as they sing and serve together.
